What is DOT-POD
DOT-POD was conceived by a group of professional musicians who use their iPods for transporting their own copyright music and recordings and who wanted to be able to easily demonstrate their work to clients and to share 'works in progress' and other original compositions with others.

Here is an example of DOT-POD in action: Let's say you've created some original music in GarageBand and you want to make it available to your clients, or friends and family. You can't really email huge files to all your friends - the easy way is to copy them to your iPod and use DOT-POD to make them available on the web from your iPod so that your, clients, friends and family can download them from their web browser. Apple Upgrades iTunes on Anniversary
Apple marked the one-year anniversary of its iTunes Music Store Wednesday by upgrading its features, including adding song wish lists, lossless encoding, the ability to print out CD jewel-case inserts, and the ability to automate conversion of unprotected Windows Media Audio (WMA) files into Apple's AAC format.
To celebrate the occasion, Apple announced that iTMS customers will be able to download a free song every day for the next eight days from established artists such as Foo Fighters, Annie Lennox and Jane's Addiction. Moreover, iTMS will begin to offer a "Free Single of the Week" from emerging artists. CRM News

xSkn Twist clip from Lajo
xSkn case company has released a new universal belt clip, the Twist Clip. It is a clip on belt clip style that swivels to allow the ipod to stay horizontal or vertical. Lajo states that the clip can be used on his EXO line of cases and will also work with cases from other vendors.(DLO, iSkin & Speck) The clip was released but has not yet started shipping.

xSkn EXOflp case
We have recevied the EXOflp cases in Asphalt and ICE color and will be reviewing them and posting pictures soon. The xSkn EXOflp cases are just like the EXO2 cases but offer a flip open bottom, that allows you to use the iPod dock and still leave the case on.

iSkin.com has now released a set of product photos for the upcoming iskin mini ipod case. The pictures show details about the belt clip, top and bottom of the case and different angles. There was also an announcement of a small delay in the product being released for shipments. iSkin Mini

WOW! That's all that I can say. This has got to be one of the coolest iPod
cases that has every been made. Everybody likes some fire in their life, and
what better to make your iPod look even hotter. The Inferno case is just a
special version of the very popular xSkin EXO iPod case that has been around for
almost a year. Lajo the co-designer of the original EXO cases has kicked this
case about 10 notches with the vibrant fire design.

The case is made from the highest grade Japanese silicone and includes a
iShade screen protector, removable belt clip and clear zip case to hold your
accessories. The metal post for the belt clip is removable to allow an almost
totally flat surface on the back. The iShade screen protector included is a clear
protector, there are 7 colors of iShades available as upgrade options.

EXO cases provide a 2mm thickness of protection around your iPod. The EXO
offers good protection from accidental drops and scratches. So what is this case
good for? The EXO works great for an everyday activity case for your iPod. I
used the case for protection when carrying between home, work and the car. I
really did not use the belt clip, it seemed easier to slip it into my pocket.
The best thing about not using the belt clip was with the post removed from the
back of the case. The silicone provides a nice anti-slip surface for the iPod
while in the car. I really don't like those vent mount holders and the cup
holder ones are just too huge. So the ideal spot for the iPod is to lay flat on

iSkin Releases the iSkin eVo - The eVo is a updated version of the iSkin EXO2 case. It offeres an improved belt clip design and the top of the case has been modified to allow iPod accessories to connect. One of the main complaints from iPod users was that with most cases they could not use accessories like itrip and voice recorders. The cases were simply to thick on top to allow the item to connect. iSkin has taken user feedback and released the eVo. We will be posting pictures and a review of this new case when the first unit arrives.

iPod Pouch by JMX Designs

If you are looking for a way to store you iPod and iPod accessories. I think this new product will offer a cool solution for your need. The iPod Pouch offers a drawstring closure with multiple fabric print options. The Pouch is a simple concept designed to allow you to transport your iPod and accessories from place to place with out dropping items for loosing them. This pouch will hold your ipod in a case and several other accessories. I use my test pouch everyday to transport my ipod while in the iSkin case, a iTrip, earbuds, and ipod remote. When not using the items I just stuff them all in the Pouch and store it away. This saves from having extra clutter rolling around in my car and helps cut down on some of the stuff that is know to stick to the silicone skin cases.
