Apple has pushed back the release date of its anticipated new tech toy for streaming content from computers to your television set. Apple did not give the reason for the delay of shipments. In January, Apple reported that Apple TV would launch in February, but delayed the shipments of the new product until the middle of this month.
The new product is expected to be another hit for Apple. Already, Apple is popular for its computer, the Macintosh, which is touted at the best of the best by some users. There is the popular brands iTunes and iPod used by millions worldwide and the release of the iPhone even with a high price tag the iPhone will be another huge hit if you base sales projections off of the buzz it has created.
"Wrapping up Apple TV is taking a few weeks longer than we projected, and we now expect to begin shipments mid-March," Apple representative Lynn Fox said in a press statement. The Apple TV is expected to cost about $299. There is a simple three-step process required to use the Apple TV.
On their website, Apple demonstrated these steps in a simple diagram. Users who follow technology news know the Apple TV works on PC and MAC. It is designed to take content from iTunes and play it on your TV. This new product form Apple will add another tie-in and another feature to the already popular iTunes brand.
